Somerset Medical Center Foundation is a non-profit organization that solicits and administers funds on behalf of Somerset Medical Center, in Somerville, New Jersey.

In January, 2007, this nationally accredited 355-bed acute care and teaching hospital opened The Steeplechase Cancer Center, named in honor of the Far Hills Race Meeting, whose generosity made the $28 million state-of-the-art outpatient facility possible. This wonderful center allows patients to visit their physicians, undergo testing and treatments and participate in promising research studies – all in one facility.

The medical center also recently expanded its sleep medicine services, opening the new 20-bed Sleep for Life center in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Among the largest and most advanced facilities in the country, the center offers a unique holistic approach to the treatment of sleep disorders. Services include diagnostic testing, complete health assessments, follow-up care and consultations with medical specialists.

Since the mid-1950’s, more than $16 million has been invested in this vital community resource through the Far Hills Race Meeting. Your participation in this extraordinary event matters! We thank you for your attendance, as well as your continued support.
